Description

The bathtub SUNDBAD is structured around a number of modules and is therefore easy to service and maintain.

​

- The bathtub is made of fiberglass reinforced polyester with a surface of gelcoat.

- The bottom frame is a galvanized, powder coated steel profile. The remaining parts are in plastic or aluminum.

- Standard design is in white. Other colors can be quoted on request.

- The time for tilting is about 45 seconds.

- Filling the tub with the amount of water required for a bath takes about 4 minutes if the water pressure is 3 bar or more..

- To empty the tub after a bath takes about 3 minutes.

- For a bath you consume about 40 gallons of water.

- The mixer is a pressure-controlled thermostatic mixer from FM Mattsson, Sweden. As it is pressure-controlled it provides an increased safety against scalding. If the cold water lapses the mixer immediately stops the hot water. The mixer needs the same service as any similar thermostat mixer.

- The tilting is performed by an electric actuator from LINAK, Denmark. This actuator is powered from a rechargeable battery of 24 volts. LINAK Actuator LA 31 IP65 - 24V battery LINAK IP65 - 220V charger LINAK (to be installed outside the bathroom in a dry environment) – Hand control LINAK IP65.

- The battery can handle 40-50 tiltings on each charge. When about 50% of the capacity is used an alarm will sound as a reminder that it is time to recharge. Recharging can be done for example during the night and the next morning the battery will be ready for use again.

– The connection to water is done by the two supplied flexible hoses, one attached to the cold and one to the hot water of the main network (see the Installation chapter).

- Outlet water is led through the supplied flexible hose that is laid out on the floor until the floor drain (see the Installation chapter).
